About this property

Welcome to Château Fredericton

Château Fredericton offers straightforward accommodation with a practical mix of informal rooms and suites. Facilities include an indoor pool with a water slide, a fitness center, and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Additional conveniences such as free parking, accessible rooms, laundry service, and a business center make it suitable for various types of visitors, including families and business travelers.

Located in a commercial area of Fredericton, the hotel is near shopping centers like Regent Mall, fast-food dining options, and the botanic garden, providing easy access to everyday essentials and local attractions. Nearby cultural sites include the Beaverbrook Art Gallery and Odell Park, both popular among guests seeking outdoor or artistic activities. Fredericton International Airport is approximately a 15-minute drive away, which adds to the property's accessibility.

Guest reviews highlight cleanliness, comfortable beds, and friendly staff as standout features. The breakfast offering receives positive remarks for variety and quality, although the absence of an on-site restaurant means dining options are limited to nearby outlets. Some guests note that the pool area can become busy and that certain maintenance aspects, such as shower drains, might benefit from extra attention.

Rooms are described as modern and well-equipped, with useful touches like a Nespresso machine and good water pressure in the shower. Noise levels are generally manageable, especially as a quiet policy after 10 pm is enforced. The absolute cleanest and most comfortable hotel in Fredericton. I've stayed in all major hotels in Fredericton for work and there's nothing like this hotel. I always feel at home here. The beds are comfy, the room is well insulated, huge TVs with all your favourite channels, complimentary breakfast which is pretty decent. Huge bathroom and shower. And lots of fun for kids with the pool. Can't say enough about this hotel. Keep up the great work!

Our family had a lovely stay at Château Fredericton. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was great — a nice variety to start the day. The pool was warm and relaxing, and the slide looked like a lot of fun. The only downsides were that my husband and son came back from swimming smelling like musky water, and the shower drains could use a good deep clean. Overall, though, it was a great experience and we’d happily stay again.

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice, a year apart, both times in the Studio Suite. Location is only a few minutes’ drive from downtown. The building is clean and well-maintained. Check-in and check-out are quick and straightforward, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The Studio Suite is well laid out and with all standard amenities and offers plenty of cupboard space, though a bit more cupboard space would be welcomed (this can easily be managed with a little creativity). Lighting is ample in the entry hall and bedroom and exceptional in the bathroom. The bathroom is large and functional. Shower water pressure is very good. Wifi service handled streaming well. TV was easy to navigate and set up your choice of streaming services. Parking is ample, with carded access available at the rear for rooms at the back. Noise levels at night are manageable, thanks to a well-managed no-noise policy after 10 pm. The included breakfast is highly recommended. Restaurant is well laid out and flows well. Standard offerings include eggs, bacon, toast, cereal, fruit, coffee, tea, juice, etc. Everything is well prepared and delicious (standouts include the scrambled eggs and bacon). Both experiences were on the ground floor, so elevator wait times are unknown, but no-one in our group had any complaints. Overall, two very positive experiences and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Fredericton.

Once I made my booking then check in and till checkout, I was flooded by emails and SMS for this, that and then some more. The amount of messages was overwhelming to the.limit I wished I never stayed here. But rooms are nice. Breakfast is good.

I stayed in a king suite with my husband for a work function and was pleasantly surprised at how modern and stylish the room design was! In fact, it competes with the Delta, which I had stayed at before. The bed was so comfortable, loved the Nespresso machine, bathroom was so modern with lovely glass door shower and great hot water pressure! Also, spa-quality soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Breakfast was really great, as was the dining area, all decorated up for xmas. I was not expecting this level of niceness from this hotel, and I would stay here again! Service was great: we had requested a room away from any sports teams/group bookings and they upgraded us to the king suite at no extra charge - and it was super quiet! It was perfect! Note: If you have kids and hope to use the water slide, you can expect the pool to be busy and noisy.

We stayed here a couple years ago but just recently picked up my daughter from a birthday party at the Chateau. Google maps asked me how I liked it and realized I never left a review the first time... First, off and foremost, the pool and water slide is an absolute attraction for any kids. I think when we first came we spent more time in the pool than in the room because she couldn't get enough of it. The staff is super friendly. Help yourself to a complimentary coffee or lemon water at the door while you're getting things sorted out. The rooms were cleaned and don't feel outdated. All the supplies you would need for a good night's stay. The hot breakfast in the morning is great. Plenty of options for kids too! Plenty of parking and just around the corner from literally everything. So close to all the restaurants, malls and gas stations. Just Google it and go. It's hard to critique on prices because I find everywhere to be expensive, so if you're looking for a bargain this isn't the cheapest place to stay, but I find it's fair for everything that's offered! Considering the competition may offer you half of what you can get here, it's a good place to stay with great service!!

Such a great overal experience. Did not expected from small city hotel. Just a 5 star place. Breakfast, design, pool, staff are amazing. The mattresses a bit hard and bathtub is small only. Thank you

It’s in the details. Well-maintained, clean bathroom with high-end toiletries, USB plugs that work, in room Nespresso machine, quality breakfast and for the kids, the slide makes it worthwhile. Go early to avoid “rush hour” if staying at a busy time. We would stay again.
